That didn't take long!

Well, previous reader surveys told me that many of you wait until my serialised stories are collected before diving in, so I figured I'd treat you sooner rather than later. And besides, I didn't have a new book ready for you this month – and I have to give you all something, right?

Remind me what the hell this is all about...

An ingenious modern artist starts secretly erecting erotic installations around a sleepy coastal town that invite a certain amount of 'audience participation'. Given the chance to indulge their fantasies in a clandestine manner, the local residents start taking advantage of the sexy opportunities afforded.

What kinds of installations could get the locals so randy?

Well, there's the ornate glory hole in a secluded area of the local leisure centre. A booth that encourages participants to get 'handsy' with their anonymous co-occupant. And even a church pew that sends intimately directed vibrations to any female parishioner sat in the right place when the church organ starts playing. That kind of thing 😂

Who are the main characters?

Each chapter in the series focuses on a different installation and a different resident who gets tempted into trying them out. But connecting all the stories is the pretty young journalist Francesca, sent by her boss to her hometown to get the scoop on who this mystery artist is and why he's doing what he's doing.

Why IS he doing what he's doing?

Ah, that would be telling. The locals have dubbed him 'Wanksy' (geddit?!) and they have no idea why he chose their little town to showcase his sordid installations. But as Francesca gets familiar with his work – and is persuaded to sample some of his creations – she begins to suspect that she may have a specific connection to him.

Next up, a thoughtful write-up of 'Do What You Want To Me'. I particularly appreciate how this reviewer bought into the set-up. I found it quite thrilling contextualising these erotic adventures in terms of "Aren't men awful in their inability to control their urges?" before the protagonist unwittingly segues into "I LOVE the fact that men can't control their urges around me!". It makes for an interesting journey...
